Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Heritage home B&B in downtown Truro. Excellent hostess, spacious, clean and comfortable suite and the breakfast was delicious...This was our last night in Nova Scotia and one of the best of our trip.

This is our first time in Truro and we picked a winner. Mrs. O'Leary's is a nice, clean establishment, and the home has been well restored. The owner is very attentive, and also very knowledgeable about Truro, its families, and styles of homes. We had the Beryl Kent suite which is the largest, and overlooks the front yard. Breakfast is... More

We stayed at Barbie's in September for two nights and the standard of the accommodation and the hospitality was second to none. Barbie took the time to sit with us and chat and tell us about the area and even though it rained while we were there we loved our time in Truro because of where we stayed. The house... More

Barbie is the epitome of a gracious & fun hostess, who is well versed on 'what to see and do in Nova Scotia'.The house is decorated in authenic Victoriana, well situated in the town, and I loved Millie's Room. Breakfast was amazing, with stimulating conversation. I have no reservation in recommending Mrs.O'Leary's to anyone who wants a perfect place to stay.

Barbie was such a wonderful hostess! From staying up a bit later to meet us after a day-trip, to showing us around her BEAUTIFUL house, to letting us choose what we would like for breakfast. The room was fantastic! A four-piece bathroom, little kitchenette area, television with DVD's to keep us entertained, and telephone with North America Long Distance. The... More

I live in Australia and spend four months each year in Nova Scotia. I store my Canadian car in their charming Victorian carriage house and stay overnight on my trips each way. I have been doing this since 2009 and have only good things to say about Mrs.O'Leary's. Barbie and Erin are friendly and welcoming and always make you feel... More

Authentic with modern and clean touches made for a nice stay, safer parking away from the street and alley. Breakfast was good, and with conversation. Bed was comfy, the washroom clean and the shower was new and stayed hot. We'd stay again.

Barbie could not have been more pleasant or welcoming. Her home was beautiful, elegant without being stuffy, the bed was absolutely perfect, and the breakfast was delicious. We we definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nova Scotia.

We stayed at Mrs. O'Leary's Victorian B and B one night while we were traveling through Nova Scotia. Our hostess, Barbie Reynolds, was very welcoming, the b and b is beautiful, and our room was very quiet, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed our conversations with Barbie and with other guests over a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend it when you... More
