We stayed Thanksgiving weekend and were happy with everything at the B&B. Heather is very friendly, helpful and eager to please her guests. Breakfast was enjoyable, and there was a very friendly atmosphere throughout. The house is older but the bathroom was newly renovated with a nice shower. A great deal for travellers and tourists.

We stayed at this property for just one night, prior to catching the ferry from North Sydney to Newfoundland. We wished we'd stayed longer as we found it to be a really restful night's sleep. The hostess was very friendly and good at recommending things to do near by as well as the best way to get to the NFL which is across the street. We stayed in this B&B for an overnight stopover prior to taking the Ferry to Newfoundland. We had to get up very early for the ferry and had a self-serve breakfast in the kitchen before we went.

Good quality for the money - especially full-week rates/off season. Breakfast different every day. Hostess very accommodating - ice when needed, room service only as required, very private. We'd go back for another long stay.

drive off the ferry and you are100 meters from b and b. Very friendly, great room, good parking and great breakfast.

I chose this location because it is within easy walking distrance of the ferry terminal (if you use the shortcut described by the owner). They were very accommodatiing of my late arrival, and my room was comfortable if a little dated and design-challenged. Breakfast was large and hot; sausages, eggs, toast, etc. No choices offered.
