We made a day trip to Whistler beginning of March 2013 and decided to stay at the Sandman in Squamish so we could do some sight seeing in the morning. Checkin and check out went flawlessly. The hotel was fairly quiet, not alot of guests staying at this time. The hotel iteself is beautiful, new hotel and very well looked... More

All by itself on a clearing in an industrial are. When we arrived there was only one car in the lot...I thought it might no be open. No signage on the highway...we drove by viewing it on the left but unable to turn around for a few miles. Then we couldn't find an access road...no wonder there were no cars.... More

**highly recommend, would return again**, 3-star quality level at 2.5 star prices; just 26 mi (or 35-40mins) south of Whistler. For the price of lifts for 3-days, stayed for 4 nights; worth the drive between Whistler & Squamish for savings. Locals (Canucks) tend to stay here (Sandman a Canadian chain); was nicer, much quieter & less crowded than the nearby Best... More

I'm not a fan of Sandman Hotels so I can not campare it to other ones. Its the higher priced of the top 3 in Squamish but the only one with a continental breakfast. The hotel is new so still clean looking and new smell, well its a few years old but I have never seen more than a few... More

The staff were nice and accommodating. The hotel rooms are nice and we were given a nice view of the Chief. The included breakfast is industry standard. I have included pictures. My wife and I were upgraded to the nicer room which is always nice. If you are travelling in the area be sure to check out the Brackendale Eagle... More

We stayed here again. The pool is still under construction since the change over in the company so don't expect it to be done anytime soon! Relieved the manager is no longer there from the last summer. For families - great location for various activities nearby. Alice lake up the highway, Heritage Railway Museum is just a little drive behind... More

Good points: excellent bed, lots of space, good desk & other furniture, black out blinds. Bad points: 1) the lights - low (40 W or lower equivalent CFL's) lights. While we appreciated the need to conserve energy some respect for our habit of reading print media would have been nice. 2) the HEAT (should it be necessary to turn on... More

For a reasonably low price we found ourselves in a beautiful room in which everything except one light bulb worked, including BOTH Tvs. (The bulb was replaced immediately). Internet was free incl. a computer. Breakfast was free and so was a nice little gym. There was a pool but it was out of bounds for construction when we were there.... More

We were very pleased with our recent stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, new and spacious. Their pool was not in service when we were there, but it looked really nice (tall slide, etc..)I highly recommend this hotel!

We have been at this hotel already 2 nights and 5 more to go. It's a new hotel and clean, but service and breakfast is terrible. First of all, they made us eat cereal from coffee cups because the ran out of bowls. It's ridiculous! Go and buy on Wal Mart across the street. Second, don't get very happy about... More
