Staying here now, seen roaches in the bathroom both nights. Tried to get pics but obvsiouly a little hard. But my profile is reputable . At 220$ a night, not including breakfast you’d think you’d be able to afford exterminators. Maybe less branded stuff and more hotel up keep.

Dear Millierules, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. However, your claim about the condition of our bathroom is unfounded. We do not have a record of your complaint and we are unable to verify you as a hotel guest. Best regards, Yasser Saad | Front Office Manager

Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds. Had a few issues in the bathroom which was rectified the same day. Not all the light switches seem to work and the light sockets didn’t hold anything I plugged into them except for the one at the end of the desk. If you don’t like the noise of the trains across the street, I don’t recommend this hotel unless you ask for a room at the back side of the hotel. There’s a restaurant connected to the hotel but privately run. A pub is inside the hotel.

We had a one bedroom suite ($300/night!) from August 3 to 6 to attend a wedding. The room was in the old section second floor facing the back which was less noise from traffic. Staff were good and responsive to requests for extra towels. We left notes plus tips for the cleaners for extra towel and request for other supplies. Not sure if the could read English because our requests weren’t fulfilled for some reason. We had to call or go to the front desk to get extra towels, shampoo etc. The room was smelly and musty. We had to turn the air conditioner full blast for a while to dull the smell but only helped temporarily. Kitchenette had the utensils you needed if you were preparing snacks etc but a dribble of dishwasher detergent provide with a couple of towels. Our friends stayed in the new section and complained about the musty smoky smell in their room too. The washroom looked like it was renovated but plumbing was mediocre. On our last morning, the kitchen and bathroom sink was plugged and backing up. We were so happy to be checking out. The bed was comfortable and the mattress was firm which we liked but maybe not comfortable for most people. Air conditioner/heater units are the old old units that are in the wall and are loud and difficult to get the right temperature. On the second day , our card key didn’t work so we went to the front desk to get it fixed. The first thing the staff said was did you put the key next to your cell phone. Her tone was accusatory versus genuine question to help. My response was no. She fixed the keys and didn’t utter another word. No apologies or anything. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this nor will we stay there again.

We live nearby and booked a total of four rooms for friends and family attending the wedding of our daughter. The manager (Leah) was super accommodating and very flexible. We initially booked 6 rooms but some overseas family members couldn’t make it a week before. Leah canceled the extra rooms for free. The Inn also provided free shuttle to the wedding venue at Pitt Meadow. The driver was very nice and waited beyond the requested time for pick up coz the wedding dinner started very late and ended much later than anticipated. The rooms were large and comfortable. The west wing room was quite, spacious, clean and comfortable. The East wing rooms can be a little bit noisy but otherwise comfortable with two queen beds. The car park is often full, maybe it is peak season. But they let us park right in front to pick up or drop off guests. Definitely will book again for visiting family and friends.

I had a good stay here at the Poco Inn and Suites. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. The location from where the hotel is to my courses were nice and nearby so that was great. Definitely would come back again if I have to be in the area.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Lounge and restaurant on site but if your an early riser, the restaurant isn’t open until 8 am. Within a few kilometres of major shopping mall. Hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and close to a Costco. Tim Hortons and Wendys next door for those who like their coffee! If flying in to Abbotsford International Airport or Vancouver International Airport, budget at least 110.00 per ride each way not during rush hour/peak time. No swimming pool or hot tub on site. Fitness Centre on site.

We discovered that this is the ONLY lodging available IN Port Coquitlam. VERY nice room, comfortable beds (pillows, not so much!!) The front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The lounge offered food service as well as libations, so there was no need to walk the length of the hotel to get to the restaurant. (Somewhat limited time frame, but it suited our needs.) If the need arises again, we would certainly return.

Room was basic. No view on the road side. Only minor noise from rail yard shunting cars. An OK stay for 4 days to see parts of Vcr. that we didn' t see when we lived there. Parking OK. Polish restaurant on site. Tim H across an intersection. Tub access not great, safety wise , for older people or knee replacement people. Price was OK for Vcr.

My husband and I have stayed multiple time here. Being away from home due to work for extended period, its very pleasant to find a place like Poco Inn & Suites Hotel. We've always booked the room with full kitchen and it does make a big difference and feels like somewhat home away from home. Rooms with Full Kitchen is very spacious. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. The gym is decent and clean. Restaurant next to the hotel serves good food. The place is very close by to groceries and restaurants.

We had a extreme terrible mouldy and pee hide bed that when we told the front desk, we were told that they would get back to us. When they did (after we left and had to demand a call back) the manager yelled and told us it was our fault that we even opened the hide bed ( that was there and openly provided) We recently were faced with trying to give the hotel another try as it was a block booking for our child’s sport. We were told we could not book because of our first experience which had nothing to do with how we conducted ourselves and especially respecting this hotel and the restaurant etc. this was in fact because of how THEY treated us and the fact that we had payed an extreme amount of money and only to be presented with a couch that was full of mould. This hotel is extremely unprofessional and I would never ever recommend this over priced and unprofessional establishment. Please avoid at all costs
