“Always a pleasure”

One of my favourite places worldwide. Always clean and comfortable but Frank and Debra just take hospitality to an unmatched level! Easy access to anything you might need or transit to other destinations. It's the first place I try in Castlegar or if I'm anywhere near.

“Comfortable and Quiet”

We stayed here for the May long weekend in the queen one bedroom suite with kitchenette, and were very impressed with the spotless room and property grounds. “Very homey, nice stay”

Pretty much everything you could ask for - cheap rent, homey, courteous staff, free wi-fi. My trip was only for the day and I could have easily returned that same day and not stayed anywhere however for the price and accommodations I'm glad I took it easy and stayed the night. “Friendly, helpful, great breakfast muffins, good location”

This is a great place to stay with lots to do in the area. Frank and Debra are so friendly, helpful and deliver great freshly baked muffins in the evenings ready for breakfast. Kitchenette has everything you need to self-cater if you want to, with a large supermarket within 5 minute walk. Quiet yet centrally located.

Great motel! Very clean, affordable rates, and extremely kind and helpful owners. We were brought delicious homemade muffins for breakfast! It is the best place to stay in Castlegar. Thanks again, I can't wait to return!

The Flamingo is not a fancy, resort, or destination motel - for us it was a place to stay while passing through Castlegar on a longer trip. And for that, it was excellent. “Friendly little motel.”

We stayed here for just the one night on our way through town. The owner definitely made us feel right at home. The room was small but adequate. For the price we paid this little place definitely can't be beat.
