Room was very small. Heating system was old and noisy. Could not get the temperature properly adjusted. No elevator - at least for the old section. Centrally located downtown. Included breakfast buffet was good. Check in was quick and courteous. If I stay there again it will be in the new section.

We've stayed here many times on business & shopping trips. The last two times we decided to upgrade to a room with king bed in the tower and so glad we did. The suit in the main part of the hotel is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom may be tiny, but the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom makes up for it. The main street stores are unique and easily found just across the street.

While the tower might be ok the old wing is noisy, cramped and the bathrooms are tiny. Demand the tower or go elsewhere

Coast Discovery Inn is centrally located.. off the marina on one side, with the shopping mall around the other. The sumptuous breakfast buffet keeps one going way past lunch. We stayed 2 nights - planning a fishing trip, which was cancelled due to windy weather. The hotel staff were great in recommending alternate activities. Stayed here for two nights while touring BC.
