“Fantastic Bar in Kimberley”

The pub was excellent - definitely something for everyone. There were darts and lots of room to sit around the bar and a dance floor with excellent music. The servers and service were fantastic - everyone working was cheerful and everyone I came with had a fantastic time!

This Hostel, was bright and clean, easy to get to (in the main part of town) We had a kitchen to make our meals and our own private washroom in our room....it was perfect for someone who is traveling or is on the hills all day. This is a hostel above a pub, so expect bands and music playing late on the weekends, which suits me just fine. Walk down stairs from our room to the bar, enjoy the drinks and atmosphere and stumble upstairs later on. The hostel was clean and the staff were very friendly. “Best beer in British Columbia. Great value”

Great music. You can play your own.  Beer is definitely the best we had in canada. Ice cold. Fresh and great taste.  Pool tables good, and free on Tuesday.  Friendly staff. Would def go back especially for beers.

Many things have changed since 2007 and customers now find the place a very easy going, clean and great value for money. On a band night or on a Friday with spinning DJs below the hostel will be noisy and is not suited on those nights to customers more used to HI type hostels. More
