“Not impressed!”

Was assured at time of booking that hotel renovations would be complete. With 3 weeks notice was contacted and told hotel would not be open, and that my reservation was cancelled. “Cancel reservation without even a month's notice”

Be careful booking here. We planned our vacation, booked the hotel, as it was on the news regularly with the renovations. Only to get a call, less than a month before our reservation to tell us it was cancelled. The hotel was not accepting reservations until sometime in August. We had booked in May our trip for July. “Service blows hot and cold.”

The quality of service throughout the hotel varies substantially. The food was good and the restaurant service was fine. Overall i was disappointed with the experience and will not stay at this property again.

“Beautiful old rooms”

We stated in the old part of the hotel for our anniversary. That part is so charming. The room had beautiful hardwood floors a tv, comfy bed and cite bathroom nestled into the dormer. A unique spot for a night away.
