Excellent private rooms and BR, hosts we could sit on the porch with and chat with, great breakfast, and I even watched the patriots on the TV in the guest living room. 5 stars.We biked to a fishing village along the ocean, saw the tall ships, but most of all enjoyed our hosts, Barry and Susie.

We stayed at Maplebird house in Lunenburg while driving from Newfoundland to Ottawa. Lunenburg is a beautiful heritage town with gorgeous homes and welcoming people. Maplebird house is a gorgeous old home that has been well cared-for and beautifully decorated. Hosts Barry and Susie are tops, so is the Maplebird House. Great rooms, spectacular breakfast and close to the waterfront. The grounds and so well groomed, beautiful flowers and rare in a B&B and great swimming pool! Would gladly come here again.

This lovely old home is in the old part of the town of Lunenburg, it sits just above the harbour and from their terrace they have beautiful views of the town and the water.
