BC campsites always seem to be superior in quality to Alberta sites (Berg Lake is wonderful!). The camp spots were good, but the picnic tables were not near the sites, and were communal and often full. For people who like roughing it, this campground is not for you. You get to take all your gear on the bus, there are wood stoves and toilets in the outhouses. Because you don't have to walk in, there are lots of families. Of course, the kids have a limited appreciation for the great outdoors and are just as happy... More

the campsites are crammed together, and the day is long in the summer. people let their kids run wild so it is impossible to sleep. no picnic tables near tents (for bear control) but it is hard to get a spot at the group tables. beware there are no flush toilets, only pits. the mosquitos were absolutely awful in july-...
