Have spent several nights at the Spencer on Byron, rooms are always immaculate and comfortable, the suite's have amazing views over the city and Rangitoto island. Hotel is really handy if you are just spending the night in Takapuna or venturing further afield into Auckland City.

Perfectly adequate hotel in Takapuna. My main reason for staying here was that it was close to my office. Not ideal if doing business in the city as traffic stacks up quite early in the morning.

Absolutely first-class service. Was able to check-in in the morning, our bags were in our room, spacious and luxury room and late night room service was not a problem. Awesome!
We had a One Bedroom Suite that was very spacious and had great views of both Auckland CBD and Rangitoto. Handy to everything but far enough from the bars that there are no noise issues.
