This was our last stop in New Zealand and it was perfect! The views were amazing and the walk to the local restaurant and movie theater was quite nice. We stayed with 3 of our children and all were very happy!

My wife and I stayed here with our 9 month old baby, twice, for a week each as a book-end to a business-trip this past summer. Every single one of the 8 total days was absolutely perfect. While the views are stunning and make it painful to leave, the attention to detail and kindness and caring of the owners is... More

My husband and I recently stayed at No. One House B & B for 3 nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. The home was charming, the hosts, Brian and Jay were wonderful, the breakfasts were delicious, the conversations were stimulating and humourous, and the view of Auckland was outstanding!!! Brian and Jay really made you feel right... More

I stayed with 3 friends February 2011 for 2 nights before starting our big NZ road trip. We wished we had stayed longer. It was the day of the earthquake when we arrived and even though the owners were busy checking on family and friends, they welcomed us warmly. The unit is really lovely with cooking facilities and comfy beds.... More

We planned to stay at No 1 for 18 nights on and off during our 27 day tour of the North Island, hopping back to Auckland when there was a game at Eden Park, as our main reason for going to New Zealand was that the Rugby World Cup was on. We stayed in the Green and the White rooms... More

Good website, easy to book rooms, friendly hosts who responded quickly to questions by email. Lots of information given before we even arrived. About 30 mins drive from the airport, straight across the bridge, and there you are. Easy parking - underneath the actual bridge, it's that close! I wouldn't want to live there permanently - too noisy - but... More

My 9 day stay in the apartment was fabulous. The view of Auckland City and Sky tower from my bedroom was spectacular. The breakfast package was more than adequate. Brian and Jay were absolutely awesome hosts .... loved the tour of the magical garden. Will have to go back to enjoy it more, as was away most of the time... More

This character home is situated on the waterfront bluffs with a commanding view of the harbour and adjacent islands. The path down to the water is through an enchanting sub-tropical garden complete with Monarch butterflies and a hobbit hole. The main bedroom of the apartment unit is fitted with windows facing the sea, providing such a beautiful view that one... More
