Though October is supposed to be the rain season out on Vancouver Island, we were fortunate enough to have great weather for the first two weeks of it in 2012 for our yearly vacation. Both my wife and myself had done a lot of research on every single camping site out west, as we were determined to be close to... More

Stayed at Surf Junction for a 6 day trip to the Pacific Rim. It was very laid back and well organized. The bathrooms were clean, and the compostable bathrooms did not have a hint of smell! It was great to be able to rent everything right from the camp site. We were within 10 minutes of Wickaninnish Beach - perfect... More

My husband and I stayed at Surf Junction for a week in August. We did the surf package, which included our site, firewood for the week, two surf lessons and our gear rentals for the week. The price was right and we had a blast. The campground: The sites are varied in size and if you have a large truck... More

I truly adore everything about Surf Junction. This place is a Surfer/ campers paradise. Located in the perfect location, close to great surf, beautiful camp sites, with tons of room. There really isn't much that sells a place more then a nice big hot tub and sauna after an awesome surf session filled with rad like minded people. The staff... More

This campground was really cool, nice area. Great staff, and store that rented surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits and offered lessons. About 5 minute drive away from Long Beach and 5 minutes into Ucluelet that has everything you'd need. Ucluelet has a lot of beach trails to walk. Has a hot tub and sauna as well as showers and flush toilets. Also... More

My wife, two year old daughter and I stayed here for a week at the end of September for a short vacation before the summer's end. Keeping warm as the nights cool off in September is challenging for visitors, so the hot tub and sauna (both very clean and well maintained) were perfect amenities. Campsites are tucked into lush forest... More

Have reserved a site here for an upcoming trip in Sept 2012 - and wow - some of these reviews are giving me cold feet! We stayed at this campground 4 years ago & had a really good experience. We have a truck & camper & stayed in a larger unserviced site. Bathrooms, showers & hot tub were decent -... More

When my husband and I arrived on our honeymoon to this campground, we were immediately struck by the rude attitude of the staff. Being experienced campers and having stayed at several campsites in Canada (national parks, etc.), we have never had anything but great experiences in this country and been treated very fairly. From the beginning, on the telephone, the... More

I was checking for pricing information to recommend the surf service to a friend. We stayed at Surf Junction in July 2009 and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Surf Junction is located where the east west section of Pacific Rim Highway intersects with the north south section of the highway. This allows for a nice... More
