We stayed in this hotel just for one night after coming off the ferry. I was a little wary because of some of the reviews but I really don't understand what people are complaining about! The check in guy seemed tired (it was 11pm after all) but not rude, and we were checked in quickly. The outside of the hotel... More

I travel a fair bit for work. This is the worst hotel ever! The grumpy man at the front desk checked me in by grunting and shoving a slip for my signature towards me. The room smelled bad, had a saggy, stained ceiling, mold on the walls, and an awful bed. The 2 nights I was forced to stay there... More

Basic rooms with CLEAN everything, which is nice. Beds ok. No ide what front desk put phone calls through when we had a 'do not disturb' on the room, bowever. Noisy kids across the street until 2 AM could become a problem.

We stayed at the Port Hardy Inn for one night after arriving from the ferry from Prince Rupert. The hotel was decent - clean and quiet and quick 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Our room faced the parking lot but it was very quiet. The front desk was friendly. Only recommendation is to have some sort of continental... More

Stayed en route to Prince Rupert by ferry with a tour group. We were not expecting great things of this hotel, so were not disappointed. The room was OK- clean and comfortable enough. The restaurant was good- it was suggested it had changed hands lately. The manager doesn't seem to like his job much- not what you'd call a "people... More

We expected the worst after reading other reviews. We paid for this hotel as part of a tour, so we cannot comment on cost. It has large, comfortable and clean rooms. Perfectly acceptable for an overnight stop. We left before breakfast so we can't comment on that. The location is reasonable, about a 15 minute walk into the small town.... More

Certainly in the top few worst hotels I've stayed at. I heard from others to avoid it but had no choice as it was literally the only room available in Port Hardy. We were met in the lobby with a fellow who booked us in but didn't feel it necessary to look up or respond (when directly asked something) with... More

We ended up here because there was literally no other place with a room available, even though it was off-season. This is one of the dumpiest places that I have ever stayed, and it was outrageously expensive as well. There is a fried food buffet of some sort located within the hotel, where huge tour groups of senior citizens are... More

Stayed 1night after a long ferry trip from Price Rupert Room: Ok. Clean, nice en-suite, the best thing was the comfortable beds but maybe that was because we were tired after a very long trip. All the basic fittings but everything was outdated and could do with a lick of paint. Location: On the main road, a short walk to... More

This hotel was booked for my elderly mom and myself through the agent on the BC Ferry arriving late at night from Prince Rupert. I can't believe that this hotel was given a Gold rating...is this someone's idea of a joke? The room was clean enough, but it looks old and dated. Someone screwed up our reservation, so we ended...
