Your inside of a Canadian National Park and you have to pay to get in just like any other National Park. Stayed here and before getting to the hotel, the view of the building is phenomenal and old fashion. View of the huge lake from the inside of the hotel in the lobby area where they have tea time (which... More

The hotel is literally at the edge of a ledge, which make the vistas astounding, and on the edge of time, something from yesteryear that, to us personally, added to the historical ambience of our stay. If you are expecting the elegance of the "Canadian" Fairmont hotels (Banff, Lake Louise), you will be sorely disappointed because it is simply not... More

This hotel has the most beautiful location being situated on a hill overlooking the Waterton Lake. The building is very charming but the rooms are old and need to be renovated. The bathrooms reminded me of bathrooms in railway trains as they were tiny and there was no place to move. If renovated this hotel can become very charming

This hotel site was chosen BECAUSE of it's vista through this national park of Canada. Located just north of Glacier National Park, Waterton NP (Canada) is only 50 miles from the USA border. It seems like all rooms (north and south side) have a spectacular scenic view for 100 miles through this steep sided mountain valley carved by advancing and... More

This is not a luxury hotel, but it is something you just have to experience! The views are amazing, the experience incredible! The boat ride down the lake is also a must! so beautiful, even saw a pair of bald eagles.

OK, this is as close to a castle as I've ever stayed in. There's something magical from the minute you see it upon approach, perched high on a hill. The lobby is grand yet cozy. We had English afternoon tea in the lobby, overlooking the lake with the most breathtaking view. We lingered in the lobby where we met other... More

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, the experience of staying at the Prince of Wales was magical! As we walked through the front door and saw the view out of the floor to ceiling windows in the lobby, we were thrilled! The staff was friendly and welcoming, our room on the 5th floor facing the lake was... More

If there is a more Romantic Hotel on the planet I haven't found it and doubt I ever will. The rooms on the 5th floor were small but quaint and the view is unbelievable. Too bad it closes in the winter

A slice of history, a helping of mountain splendor, all served with high tea. Who could ask for more? This hotel fits the bill when it comes to location, location, location!
