My friend and I decided to go to Waterton and have a girlfriends weekend. We loved our stay at the Northland Lodge. The location is absolutely divine nestled away from the crowds of downtown and yet is a lovely 10 minute walk to the charming little main street shopping. The rooms are quaint, clean, and cozy. The hostess is friendly,... More

My family rented out the entire lodge for a family reunion a few years ago. It was so great to have our own rooms, and then have the kitchen and living room where we could spend time together and play games and make meals. We had so much fun, and I would definitely stay here again. It's old, and not... More

Stayed two nights in September. Old historic home that is now a B&B. Our room had a private bath room. Others do not. We had a door that opened to the large deck which was very convenient for getting to our car without going through the rest of the house. The door to the deck needed some repairs. Seemed secure... Expect it to be quaint and rustic. Interacting with other guests over breakfast (which is consistently only muffins although they are fabulous) is pleasant. It is not a four star hotel!!! It is not intended to be one. It radiates the true flavour of camping in a magnificent wilderness area. But delete the shared bathrooms. It says a shared shower... More

My family an I rented out the entire place. It was great for the purpose of a family gathering, but mostly just because it was a place where we could all be together in a wonderful area. The place itself was about what I expected after looking at the website. Old but cute, fairly well kept, but some stuff was... More

Located a very short walk from the waterfall, this b and b has a very laid back atmosphere. Jeanne was a great hostess with a friendly smile who serves her fresh baked muffins ~ 8 am. Our room, cowboy room, had no a/c but with the cool crisp nights it was not needed. You may want to note that you... More

I stayed there with my partner for 3 nights. We were greeted by a very friendly staff including a very friendly cat. Jeanne is a fantastic hostess and is always willing to share her knowledge of the historic lodge and town with the guests. She was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. This place in perfect for couples who are looking... More

If you are looking for a laid-back, comfortable, friendly spot to stay in Waterton, this is the spot. This big old historic home has been owned and operated by the same family since 1949. We were looking for 3 nights this September, but the whole town was booked for the 1st night because of several weddings. Jeanne, the innkeeper, found... More

Our stay at Northland Lodge was a refreshing reprieve from the Glacier Park Inc. monopoly. There were nice touches throughout including hand washed linens and delicious breakfast muffins. We also appreciated the historic quality of the hotel and enjoyed staying in the home of the man who built the Prince of Wales hotel. The owner was very sweet and even... More

My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon the Northland Lodge on our recent trip to Waterton Lakes National Park. Normally we rarely make reservations anywhere because we like to be flexible and go where the wind blows us. In this case, our gypsy ways threatened to ruin our trip because we just happened to arrive in Waterton Village on the... More
