We arrived at La Folie tired and hot after a hard day's walk in the sun. The hosts welcomed us with cold beers and great conversation, and then showed us to our room, where we had one of the best showers of the whole trip - complete with views of the countryside from the shower stall, through the bathroom window!!... Thank you for looking after us so well and not batting an eyelid when we turned up unannounced late one October night! We were fed and watered and entertained with good conversation by Kevin and Lisa. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean, and we particularly enjoyed the wonderful new bathroom and shower. We chanced upon La Folie as we drove through France this summer, and were looking for a change from the usual chain hotels.
