We wanted to go to Thredbo for a quick weekend getaway before the ski season began, and picked Pender Lea because of its reasonable price ($125/night), good reviews and secluded location. We stayed two nights in the Bedsitter, which is a cute studio apartment attached to a larger separate cottage. The place was clean and comfortable, with well manicured lawns... More

My girlfiriend and I recently psent the Easter long weekend at Pender Lea, and what a fantastic place it was. We stayed in a park cabin - the king bed was extremey comfortable, and the bunks would be fine for kids. The cabin was maybe a touch on the small side for the 5 people it would sleep, but in... More

We stayed at Penderlea Chalets in the Post Office chalet for 3 nights with another couple. We were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful building and attention to detail that has gone into furnishing and finishing the property. It's a great choice for two couples as there are two bedrooms that have their own bathrooms, located at opposite ends of the... More

If someone was to tell me that there is a better place to stay in the mountains than the "Barn" or the "Post Office" at Pender Lea................................honestly I wouldn't believe them. Both chalets are stunning and sensationally set-up. I would like to buy them and live there.......................unfortunately If I was going to do that. None of you guys would ever... More

We booked 2 rooms on the phone for late November early December, but had to cancel the reservation due to bad weather conditions a few days in advance so we called and they told us that it is Ok to cancel and they asked if we are still interested to go there some other time which we said yes but... From the second we arrived, we knew we were in for a fantastic family holiday. We chose to stay in The Barn - and I'm glad we did! It was brilliant. We have 4 young children so we usually expect a noisy household. Well, this time we were in for a treat. The kids had a ball, yet it felt... More

We stayed in Pender's Barn and it was the most superb experience we have ever had when skiing in Oz. Where do I start? Sipping aged scotch in front of the fire (ok, so that wasn't included in the price, but who wouldn't)? Settling back for some television on the couch? The incredibly comfortable king sized bed? Heated floors? We... More

We stayed in a park cabin. The cabin seemed quite run down really but it served our purpose as we were skiing all day and exhausted by the evening. It was warm, good hot water, and is dog friendly. You are not allowed to leave your dog in accommodation during the day but they have quite cosy kennels to keep... More

We took 3 families to Pender Lea and stayed in the Cottage. It was excellent with 3 double bedrooms, a kids room full of bunks, 4 bathrooms, spa, fireplace, and loads of family areas. The house was well-appointed with every appliance we could ever need. Fire wood was abundant and our hosts were wonderful, leaving the key in the door... More
