My wife and I stayed in one of the converted cottages on the night of our wedding, which was included in our wedding package. Taking into account all that had happened in the previous 12 hours we were delighted by what we say when we arrived in the room. The room was outstanding, it was immaculate and well designed. We... Popped in for Sunday lunch one sunny day in April and were pleasantly surprised at the food in Olivers. Great decor great service and great food. Beautiful restaurant with comfortable chairs and lovely table linen. Very elegant. Lunchtime menu was adequate but not a lot of choice for me as a vegetarian. Roast beef was excellent and plenty of it... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in one of their converted cottages. It was so beautifully furnished and comfortable with a bath in the bedroom. It was luxurious and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and were always happy to help. We ran a training programme there and the chefs were wonderful to us by baking cupcakes so i could teach... More

Very enjoyable, really good room ( 109) if a little warm! Breakfast very good, and bar excellent. Ideal spot if playing the world famous, and best UK inland golf facility, Woburn Golf Club some 2 miles away. Free wi fi, good safe parking and ideally located for M1 for the quick getaway. Loch Fine opposite and good pubs and more... More

I have been to this 'Wwonderful' Hotel quite a few times now and thats simply because you could not wish for better. The Customer Service from the moment you arrive in the lovely olde worldy reception with the truly lovely staff on the desk who just cannot do enough for you to the moment you leave (thats the sad part)... We stayed here for one night to go to a wedding. The hotel fulfilled its purpose as far as we were concerned (a reasonably comfortable bed for the night) but we would not see it as a destination hotel. In our view it has a bit of a travel lodge feel about it and lacks atmosphere. However, we found all... More

A very nice hotel, nicely placed close to Woburn Abbey. The hotel came highly recommended. The service was great and the nothing was a problem. We had arrived at the hotel early, so the room was not ready, this was not a problem. The hotel made the room available within 30 minutes. Great stuff. So we dumped our cases and... More

Had a/noon tea here recently, was all very adequate but the bar area lounge lacked any ambience,it felt so quiet it really needs some background music to make the place feel warmer and more welcoming but tea, sandwiches and scones were very good indeed and service from staff very prompt and polite which is always a bonus !
