After some of the negative reviews I had read, I feared the worst but my experience was quite the opposite. My room was clean and big enough, the bed really comfortable and although the 'bathroom' is one of the preconstructed type, it was clean, there was quite enough room to it and it had a larger shower than those in... Great location, good food and great service. Food was very good standard for this cheap a hotel, room basic but clean and modern. Best part was staff, providing better service than in hotels costing twice as much as this. Very good value.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Pros: Close to train station Cheap Comfy beds Helpful staff (Joseph sorted out our tv problem efficiently) Cons: No WiFi in rooms No car park Would definitely come back! Deserves 3 stars rather than 2!

A great value for money. Even so, there wasn't any parking on site, hotel staff had arranged pretty good deal with local (1 block form hotel) parking - 6pm to 9 am only 2.5 pounds. Rooms are big. No luxury but you get what you really need. Steps from downtown (10 min walk).

This hotel is located within walking distance of many great restaurants, bars, cafes and so much more that Bristol has to offer! I experienced a few 'teething' problems at first such as a pokey room with no view but eventually ended up being upgraded to a large family room with lots of windows and even a sofa- and all at no extra... We enjoyed our stay. I had requested a High up room with a view over the near-by Temple meads Station, this was supplied. The Hotel is a good walk out of town but the river boat stops right outside which is a great way to get up to the middle. There is a large Weatherspoons Pub 200 yards away. The... More

The Ibis isn't particularly exciting and its also a bit cut off, but its 2 minutes from the railway station, which might be important for some people. The rooms are quite big, but the bathroom feels like its a purpose built pod, which has been bolted in, which is exactly what it is. The hotel has no parking of its... More
