My friend and I stayed here for one night in May 2012 and found the hotel to be clean, confortable and very convenient. The Reception staff were very polite and helpful. We did have to wait about 5 minutes to check in due to a large party arriving just before us, but an excellent service nevertheless. The room itself was... More

We booked this hotel for one night prior to 10k race and chose hotel based on location. Within 30 minutes of being in our room, my boyfriend had burnt his foot badly with boiling water as a result of a faulty kettle in the room. A first aider was summoned and the kettle was replaced with another that was in... More

This hotel is quite dated and in our opinion the 4 star rating is questionable. Although clean, our room was very basic and the bed was like concrete; we chose this hotel in the hope that we were getting something extra for our money, but were disappointed to find that we have stayed in more stylish travel lodge rooms. We... More

Booking of 12 adults. Twin Rooms had one double bed & what can only be described as a 'camp bed' instead of x2 single beds. Strange arrangement especially when we had pre-booked months in advance. One of the rooms was also on a different floor - not very helpful. Some rooms on the small side. Bed firm & very comfy.... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to provide me with some feedback from your recent stay. I am sorry that your rooms weren't allocated all on the same floor. There is really no excuse for this and I will continue to monitor the allocation of bedrooms to our groups when they are staying with us. I was pleased... More

The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads and easy to find. Reception is on the 1st floor and onsite parking is available. Cheap deals are available online through experdia/laterooms etc. Good - The staff are friendly. I requested an iron and it was with me in 5 minutes. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar area... More

A nice place to stay in central Bristol. Typical large hotel and although most of the staff were friendly it seemed to lack the personal touch. Appears to be a hotel mainly catering for Stags & hens. Food was good. Excellent coffee. Room was fine though bed a tad small for me (I'm used to a superking so a normal... More

Where to start? We stayed here as part of a hen party. We were asked to leave a £50 deposit per person, which meant £100 per room! Later I found out that this was only requested for the younger ladies of the party. My sister in laws, mum and auntie didn't have to pay this. Not happy about this as... More

Dear Guest I am sorry that you have left the Ramada Bristol City with a poor impression of the hotel. We do ask single sex groups for behaviour bonds on arrival, although we make every attempt to contact guests in advance and advise them of this. If all the guests arrive at the same time, then everyone gets asked for... More

I stayed here for a stag do recently, and it was perfectly fine. Late night bar, cleanish rooms and close to bristol templemeads and the town. I did feel the place was full of stag do's - which was fine because I was on one. Things that were good were the breakfast, the location, the size of room, the cost... More

This hotel is about 5min walk from Bristol Temple Meads Station. It was decent for a overnight stay on a work trip. Good points: - Comfortable bed and pillows - Decent shower (soap and shampoo provided) - TV fine, decent selection of channels - 24 hour room service (although limited menu after 10pm-ish). Prompt room service - Check in and... More
