Completely rely on location + window dressing to cover up for a badly- run hotel.service was appalling, a 'king double' was 2 singles pushed together,water was cold + rather than a new room We were asked 2 shower in a different one then return to ours! More like a youth hostel!! All @ £119 a night.bargain!!

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night and paid £100.00. Whilst not the most expensive night we still expected certain things. The room was small, modern and tidy. Lovely little hotel in Clifton. Stayed here with my boyfriend to visit some old university friends. I liked the free sherry and fruit in the room and felt very welcome by all the staff in the hotel. I stayed for one night on a work trip to Bristol. Its quirky and the bedrooms are small and there was a little mold in the bathroom. But its fun, the staff were great, food was great: try the scallops with ham hock and the breakfast was lovely.

Unlike recent reviews we found the hotel quiet on the Saturday night we stayed. People shouting outside. Music pounding. Complained to reception. Fobbed off! Bathroom moldy, fan noisy. This place recommended by the University! Someone needs to review that!
