I really liked this hotel, the rooms were spacious, the amenities were good, the staff were pleasant and it was reasonably priced. There's plenty of room for parking, free wi fi and fairly comfortable beds.

The room was a good size, comfortable and warm. We found it very quiet unlike another reviewer. The staff we experienced - night porter and breakfast staff - very helpful, genuinely friendly, efficient. Excellent breakfast, superb freshly cooked poached eggs for instance. If I had to criticise the outside steps could be a consideration if you have a stack of luggage.... More

I used this hotel as a night stop and carparking facility prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. The rate for the stopover included a weeks parking and breakfast plus a taxi transfer to and from the airport. The room was basic but I didnt expect anything more. It was clean and plenty of hot water in he bathroom. We... More

Stayed here as a coarse I was on was taking place here. The room was clean tidy and warm if a little dated. Food was basic but hot and well cooked. Lots of parking available, close to bristol and the airport. As a one night stop over or a weekend base its ideal. Only thing a little annoying was the... More

Picked this hotel because of the parking facilities. Booked a twin and double room and we both got triple rooms so plenty of space. Lovely bathroom. Plenty of milk for teas and coffees. Had to ask for the heating to be turned up ( probably low because not many guests) No complaints about the furnishings and beds were comfy .... More

Stayed one night, thank goodness, this hotel is tired and shabby, the best thing about it was there was plenty of parking available, now I know why. The room was very basic if a little worn, the bed was ok the telly a postcard in the top corner of the room, the bathroom was clean but had no heating, so... More

the lodge is convenient for the airport but is a decent journey from the city centre. romm was clean and basic just very ordinary really. i paid £60 which it seems isnt unreasonable. it feels a little gloomy and dated. having said all that its ok. wouldnt rush back would probably would go back at a push.

What a strange experience I just had staying at the Town and Country Lodge! It was like a surreal combination of My Name is Earl and Twin Peaks but in a grotty 1970s UK motel. Fortunately it was just somewhere for me and my family to rest our heads for the night after a wedding party nearby - you definitely... More
