- Miltons Hotel Bristol

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely and clean, nicely decorated and breakfast the next day was great- full English with good variety of options.
We stayed here recently and it was very pleasant.
The staff were friendly & welcoming. Offered to book us into a local restaurant for dinner & arrange a taxi (which we didn't need) but it was a nice touch.
We had one of the cottages which was huge. Very comfortable & spacious, had our lounge with lots of beams &...

Miltons has a quaint country cottage feel about it. The rooms are converted stables and decorated tastefully and appropriate to the an old english B&B. This is not a modern plastic Travel Lodge type of place. I found it charming. The farm fields surrounding the place are picturesque and the cows very friendly. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful...

Looked great on the web. But on arrival looked tired and dated. Right next to the road, the noise from which, the poor door quality allows generously into the room - double glazed windows do not help here. We turned up on the Friday afteroon for a romantic break (after the web-site had informed us it was unashamedly romantic) and were severly disappointed.
The web-site provided the...

Family weekend and we stayed two nights in room 2 to visit Cheddar gorge and Longleat.
On the plus side, room was clean and spacious however the decor and furniture was very poor and had a second hand tired feel. Feeble shower. Tell tale signs of carelessness were a leaking toilet captured in a bowl and the single bed supported...
