Situated only a few hundred metres from the Temple meads station there are a few good pubs and restaurants nearby and the Temple business area. Good stop off for business men. Nothing 'Wow' about the hotel but nothing too awful either.

situated near enough to the city centre to walk but in a quiet location. Lovely big room.Could have done with another chair to allow you to watch the tv without being on the bed. Dined in the restaurant first night because of travelling. Reasonable hotel prices but beautifully cooked and presented food. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there... More

Hotel is situated 500 m from main train station, about 10 minutes walk from the old city. Nice rooms, unfortunately covered with carpet. Good gym and little sauna coming with it. Wifi is very expensive, they offer a lower rate on "braodband". Internet was sometimes very slow, it took some patience to get along. Access to the gym only with... More

Executive room is pretty much a basic hotel room (but did have a bathrobe, a definite plus). Stayed for one night, so no complaints: clean, functional etc. No wifi, which was a minus. When picking a room, try to get on the courtyard side. I was woken up a few times by traffic.

Novotel Bristol Centre is well located in the centre of Bristol and has a car park but the building itself is really quite dull and unattractive. Check in was passable. The staff aren't local, don't speak the best English and therefore come across as rather aloof but they did the job. Our Executive room was just about ok. The bed... More

Stayed there for a couple of days when visiting Bristol for a friend's wedding. Excellent room, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, with all the amenities and services you may need available. Friendly and helpful staff. As a bonus, they put us in an executive room even though we had booked and paid for a standard one. Very convenient location,... More

We have just got back from the Novotel in Bristol. We did not have such a good time the first time around, but the general managers customer service skills are undoubtably second to none. We had dinner on the first night, and wow, the service was absolutely superb, somthing you would expect from really top class restaurants. Unfortunately we did... More

Stayed for one night in April 2012. Got a good rate via Expedia for a room with double and sofa bed as two blokes sharing the room. On arrival we were upgraded to an executive room, with a posh coffee machine and dressing gowns. The former was used, the latter were not. Room was a little on the small side... More
