After reviewing the website we decided to take a drive as we had heard good things about the place, we arrived at 13.55 knowing that food was stopped at 14,30. After I said to the bar maid that we were looking to have lunch I heard the kitchen grumble and moan and was then told that the kitchen was closed... More

We stayed here with a group of friends and had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food in the evening was good and the breakfasts were hearty and generous. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was everything you could expect from a good pub B&B.

The standard of this hotel/restaurant was very good and I would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in room two which was a four poster room. The food at breakfast was also very good. I would make two comments to the negative though which you may want to watch out for. We booked this room through Laterooms.com and it stated... More

We stayed for one night in mid March to get away from the hustle and bustle of London. We arrived and were given keys to room 12 - one of the barn conversion rooms which whilst small was impeccably furnished with a great little bathroom including excellent shower. There are several options for local walks in the area and the... More

We stayed at the Dinton Hermit for 2 nights. We had a room in the Barn conversion, which, although a little small, was very clean, and well fitted out. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didnt eat in the evenings, but the breakfasts were very acceptable. Overall a nice place to stay for a couple of nights, being off... More

My partner and I stayed at Dinton Hermit for two nights and were delighted with the experience. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient and our double room in the barn next to the pub was perfect, with modern fittings and a comfortable bed. The food at the pub itself was excellent (though it's not very big so... More

We stayed at the Dinton Hermit for 1 night. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained with all the essentials. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and it was lovely. Good homemade food. The breakfast was also very nice I would recommend the Dinton Hermit to anyone wanting to stay in Ayelsbury

Stayed for one night and had a meal. In the middle of nowhere, so lovely and quiet. It was a bitterly cold night (-12) but the restaurant wa lovely and warm with a log fire. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I stayed in the main building in a period room with a four poster bed...my friends stayed in... More
