The hotel is fine for convenience but wouldn't describe it as a enjoyable stay exactly. For nearly £5 each my girfriend and i ordered a continental breakfast and received toast only . There was odd yoghurt and bowl of pineapple ( i think) and no pastries or hams, cheeses , rolls . No worth the £9 extra for us. Also... More

We stayed at Clifton Lodge during our visit to a friend living in High Wycombe. Our room was located in a separate building in front of the main one. The reception gave us a code to open the door and the room was on the first floor. We can't complain about our room, it was spacious and clean. We loved... More

I put men up in Hotels all over the Country for work, week in week out. I will never stay in this place again!!! The Female that I spoke to on the phone is the most Vile woman I've ever dealt with. I tried to cancel 24 hrs before the second night, when I booked in for the first night,... More

Booked through "Late Rooms UK" only because it was the cheapest option. Boy did I get what I paid for! Well let's start with the good: -Room was tidy, looked recently redone. -Price was good, around 35 pounds a night. And that's basically it. The bad outweighed the entire experience: -First night we stayed the bar was rowdy until around... More

The hotel is very cute, with clean rooms that have a very homey feel to them. Sadly our room (#22) was located directly above the bar, which was open until 3am. When we mentioned the noise level the next day we received a quick apology. Also, we found that customer service was a challenge as it was not irregular to... More

£55 for double room, a good place to stay if your working away, clean, tidy. Food was ok, comfy bed, new bathroom, room small but with free sat tv who cares, lady on reception seemed a bit abrupt at first but when you get to know her she was fine, ( don't know her name) car park could do with... The location was great for me for "day trips" both east and westbound. Not too far from the shopping centres and lots of nice pubs and restaurants within a couple of kms. The room was quite adequate with a good T.V. and a nice bathroom/toilet. Would have been nice if they had supplied a "face flannel", had to go out... More

Good value for money hotel which covered all the basics you would expect. The rooms were clean with very clean bathrooms. Some noise though at night early morning due to the conversion of this building into a hotel. That said for the price I would happily stay again

My friend and I recently booked 2 single rooms for just one night. On arrival, no one was in reception and the lights were off in the bar and living area (it was 5.30pm). We rang the bell on the reception desk and after 3 minutes a man appeared. Room was shabby - old , worn pine furniture - a... More

Thankyou for you comments and we were sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We understood that you had been before and put you in the same room as before. We were sorry that we could have managed the cleaning better in one of the rooms. If you had said we would have upgraded you to another room.The... More

Only one night but staff very helpful. Ordered taxi on our behalf. Room in seperate building with keycode entry suited our needs as very late return to hotel. Large room and excellent new shower suite. Breakfast really good.
