I've stayed at El Shaddai every year at Christmastime for nearly 20 years, and have always found a warm welcome, impeccably clean facilities, a delicious English breakfast, and helpful advice about restaurants, pubs, shopping, and things of local interest. I wouldn't consider any other place.

Coming over from Spain a couple of times a year, it is always a warm and lovely welcome at El Shaddai B&B. The house is very cozy and well taken care off. The rooms are a good size and always clean. It feels like having a home from home, and I will definately return in the future.

The couple running this B&B are charming and very friendly. The room was of a decent size and wifi was working. So far so good. The room as well as the share bathroom were filthy however. And the sheet were clearly not changed, with stains and hairs left over from previous occupants. At 50£ a night I felt simply ripped-off.

This B&B was recommended to us by collaborators at the University of Cambridge and we were not disappointed.
