Stayed Sat 25th for one night in the balcony room. We had a very warm welcome and shown to our lovely room. Not before being offered some lovely cakes. The manor is a beautiful house and our hosts made us very welcome. A lovely full English breakfast was provided. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. Can't wait...

Could not recommend this place enough. We stayed in the master bedroom, which was huge and airy, with lovely personal touches. The house was warm and inviting, great breakfast and Sammie could not do enough to make our trip enjoyable. Just a little out of town, but we'd checked location on the map before we booked and prepared for a...

Stayed here in December for a second girly weekend at the Manor. Sam is a great host – friendly, efficient, but unobtrusive. (I have stayed in other B&B type places, where the host presumes you’d like nothing more than to listen to them moan about previous guests!) Stayed at the Mickle Trafford manor last weekend, and what a beautiful place. Could not fault a thing, sam is an amazing host made us feel very welcome. Our room was fantastic, the breakfast is brilliant and all at a very reasonable price. Will be planning our next trip very shortly. Thanks Sam.
The reception area is full of character with great warmth from the open log fire. Furnished in a manner that well suits the essence of the the cottage. Surprisingly spacious yet cosy feel to it. Felt relaxed and at ease after a 5 hour door to door trek.
The room was light and airy with a beautiful calming view of...

We enjoyed our short stay at The Manor and found the room was very comfortible with lots of nice little touches to make guests feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good and it set us up as we discovered we had a flat tyre! Sams' father couldn't have been more helpful and he soon had us on our journey home...

I can't add very much to all those positive reviews. Great room, lovely garden, hot tub, honesty bar, good breakfast and very welcoming hosts who really do look after you without being intrusive. I wish I had gone a week earlier in the warm weather to enjoy the garden more.
Great place. Felt very much at home. Our room was spacious with lots of lovely little touches, moulton brown shampoo and bubble bath in the bathroom and sherry and chocolates in the bed room. Breakfast set us up for the day, just what we needed for our day trip to the zoo.
Chester itself was great too, so many things...
