I've stayed in a number of hotel/guest houses in Falmouth over the years and this one is by far one of the better ones. On my arrival the hotel's manager was at reception and made me feel very welcome. My room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was larger than all of the other guest houses and some hotels that... Me and my boyfriend decided to have a weekend away in Falmouth and we booked into The Anacapri on recommendation from a friend. We really enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are small but they are clean, fresh and ours had wonderful sea views! It also had a little balcony where you could sit on late at night with a... More

Beautiful sea view room. Bit worried on arrival as building work is underway next door. Our room was in the eaves so had interesting ceiling shapes. It had a ceiling to floor velux window with a view of the sea. Amazingly this can be made into a balcony. Didn't try this as it was wild and wet outside. I did... More

We came across this hotel via the late-rooms website, and arrived early evening for an overnight stay in Falmouth. We were greeted by a rather patronizing receptionist whose overall attitude towards us was neither friendly nor helpful. She informed us that the price for a *sea view* room was £80 (£5 more than was advertised on the website), when infact... More

My wife and I only booked an overnight weekend break and found the hotel to be well decorated, clean and warm. The views were great breakfast was freshly cooked with every selection of jams and marmalades. We found the owners to be friendly and chatty. Comfortable room with plenty of storage. The only downside was the scaffolding round the hotel... More

Probably one of the best locations in Falmouth with fantastic views out over Gilly Beach. We had a beautifully appointed room which was comfortable and very clean with a huge bed. Lovely bathroom too, but the shower did lack a bit of 'umph'. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good selection. The atmosphere at the Anacapri unfortunately doesn't support the... More

Although we go away often, we rarely comment on our stay but this time we felt we had to make the following comments We were really dissappointed that we have given our hard earned money to the owners of this Guest House. The wife checked us in but there was no welcome. The husband did not even speak as we... More

Good for a guest house. Checked in early, and unlike previous reviews suggest- this was no problem, helpful friendly staff. Girls at breakfast could not have been more helpful. Room clean tidy, small but comfy bed. Lounge and breakfast room have lovely sea views. Ideally situated fro walking to town ( straight up hill and over the top) Stay again-... More

A three night stay in this lovely small hotel with private parking. Perfect spot to watch the sea roll in from our spacious room. Great views from breakfast room also. Easy walk to the wedding at Pendennis Castle and a few minutes to Falmouth. Enjoyed a rather large king sized room on the first floor with great views and large... More

This is the fifth year that we have stayed at the Anacapri as we visit friends in Falmouth, and have always found it to be excellent, and only sorry that they had to stop doing their evening meals. We stayed in the Superior room this time which is on the top floor with a Velux Window which opened out as... More
