We booked here based on Trip Advisor reviews, which we normally find to be very helpful. However I really cannot see how this place has got so many glowing reviews. Lost count how many times we have stayed at Trelawn. Location is great for visiting gardens, a beach just down the road and Falmouth bay out in front. Very friendly, good food, comfortable room and good after dinner company. Lovely coast walk to Helford Passage and the pub !

Have just completed a second (7 day) visit to Trelawne Hotel (3 years apart). Accommodation (sea-view rooms) and food were excellent--as good as on our previous visit. Great base for visiting Cornwall's gardens (easy driving distances) and always knowing we will return to tempting and varied choices on the dinner menu.

Just returned from a 5 day visit which was all we could wish for.Comfortable room with lovely coastal views, excellent food and quiet location. A well run hotel with friendly informal service in the traditional manner. We will be back!!
