This is a really exceptional local pub. It's very old, serves good beers and has a folk / shanty / miner song night on Tuesdays and Thursdays run by a core of locals but with guests more than welcome. A really pleasure place to pass an evening.

Wonderful pub with a mixture of locals and trippers. Ale always on tap and lovely peaceful hideaways and very dog friendly. A gem

We stayed here for a night when we went to the Looe music festival. A friendly, efficient and welcoming traditional pub with lots of character. Would definitely stay again. My wife left the light on as apparently we had the haunted room, but nothing heard, though that me be the affect of numerous beers at the music festival!
