Fine for an overnight stay but wouldn't like to stay for a longer period. Very basic but adequate room facilities. Rooms quite spacious. Decor colourless - white walls & bedcovers - rooms would look more inviting with a little colour. Comfortable bed. Excellent disabled bathroom facilities with wetroom type shower. Very conveniently situated in Newquay. One drawback was lack of... More

Stopped at this travelodge for 2 nights, it's the worst one we have stopped in, we were really looking forward to visiting Newquay again the last time we visited the hotel was just being built. We checked in the reception staff were friendly & very polite, we had a sea view room (about the best part of our stay there).... More

Stayed at the Travelodge 4 nights from May 7, 2012. Had a room with a great sea view and normal Travelodge furnishings. Only drawback was no parking at the hotel, and in the summer season parking can be hard to find. The hotel is opposite the train station and not too far from the bus station, so no problem if... Stayed here for one night April 15) - booking a sale room in advance for £15. Used the hotel as a base to walk two days on the Coast Path, from Porthcothan to Newquay and Newquay to Perranporth. Making use of buses on both days to get to start and back from finish. Had a sea view room so could... More

Went here with my partner in January and had a great time! We grabbed a very cheap deal and whilst weather wasn't great, the area is great. The hotel location is perfect, located close to centre, hotel was clean and had great views across the sea, standard was what you expect from a Travelodge, if you're expecting something extra-ordinary then... Location - brilliant - just by the golden sands. This very modern Travelodge is great - well apart from the food which is rather 'plastic'- pre-prepared out of a microwave I suspect. Try to book well in advance to save money. Great stay and highly recommended.

Stayed 4 nights last week on a visit to Cornwall.Hotel room had a fantastic sea view, larger than average room and in all other respects was a typical travelodge ie not the most comfortablwe beds, hit & miss cleaning and minimal facilities.Still worth a visit as a base to explore cornwall.Major negative is the lack of parking ok this time...
