We had lunch at the Steam restaurant what great food and the children`s meals were some of the most generous we have seen the food was freshly cooked and excellent and the views are spectacular over Newquay`s bay

We had a seafront kingsize luxury room very spacious clean loved it.. Location fantastic bathroom very spacious and clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel was a lovely stay and would use again and again.

Average priced and average food but what you gain is great atmosphere in a very family friendly pub. Children are welcome and colouring books and pencils and other games provided as well as an outdoor play area. Places like this are few and far between. A gem for families

We took our severly disabled son to the great western hotel over the weekend, the room was almost perfect,( with a lovely wet room ) all the staff went out of there way from the cleaners to the receptionist.Excellent value for money will go again !

We booked a standard room so we werent expecting sea views our room overlooked the car park which was fine however we could also see straight into someone elses room meaning they could also seen into ours! No net curtain meant we had to pretty much keep the curtains closed meaning an already small room felt even smaller and darker... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in September and were very pleased with our stay. The location was very convenient and wasn't far from anywhere you'd want to go in Newquay. The hotel was clean and the people were friendly. The room was a decent size, with me only qualm being the shower, as it wasn't very powerful at all.... More
