My partner and I went on a National Holiday trip from Good Friday to Easter Monday. It did not seem a long journey to Cornwall as the the coach stopped twice for food and comfort breaks. Arrived at the hotel to a warm welcome and a room with a sea view - absolutely stunning despite the weather (a bit breezy).... More

Stayed at the Narrowcliff hotel from Monday to Friday with National Holidays - the Eden project being the main reason we visited Cornwall. The Narrowcliff is five minutes from the centre of Newquay and overlooks Tolcarne beach. The room I shared with my sister was basic but clean, however the sink was in the bedroom and there was a sliding... More

We made a late booking with National Holidays for 3 nights dinner b/b at the Narrowcliff including entrance to the Eden Project from Yorkshire. Only booking Wednesday for travel on Friday, there was £40 each off the full price, which was excellent value(even at full price it was) The hotel can take two coaches, but ours was the only one... I have just stayed here Monday to Friday on my first Grand U.K. coach trip.Yes, it needs refurbishing, and if you want a nice view i would ask for a room with a sea view one. This i didnt have, but what i did have were great staff, a very comfortable bed, and the choice, amount and quality of food... More

Returned to Narrowcliff with a National Holidays coach trip, the only thing that was a let down was the weather, On arrival at the hotel I felt like I was meeting an old friend...as soon as I walked into the hotel I felt relaxed, and looked forward to my five days there. I was stunned to find I had been... More

Starting with the positive... the staff were really friendly and worked very hard under difficult circumstances. The food was quite good with plenty of choice. Bedding and towels were clean and the cleanliness of the rooms was good considering the state of the decor. The owners of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves - the entire place needs full... Just had a 5th Christmas Party night here. The hotel is a bit eighties, the rooms tired and in need of redecoration but our room has always been clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows are comfy and the linen crisp and clean. The heating was on continuous from our arrival until departure with the option to turn it down.... More

After reading several reviews on here and being some what anxious about staying, our party of 8 had a fabulous stay. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The restaurant manager and waitress were outstanding, the food was tasteful and hot. Our rooms although basic were very clean and warm. With a good refurbishment this hotel... More

My daughter and I have just returned from a 5 day National Holidays break at the Narrowcliff Hotel. Before I went after reading the reviews I rang up National Holidays to complain. However after a 12 hour bus journey to the hotel, we were given our hotel keys, we went upstairs to our room expecting to come down and compain,... More

A party of 6 enjoyed an excellent 5 days with food and service way above the expected levels. After reading reviews was a little concerned but would not bet against it being the best value for money in cornwall. Some people pay a price to stay in 5* once in their life then compare everything (but the price) to it... More
