Overall this is a great b&b smack bang in the centre of st.ives. Small little rooms with lots of charm from an old drinking house that dates back to the 1700's!! We were left to our own devices and felt like we were not imposing on anyone!! Would go back again

Stayed at the Grey Mullett Feb 2012,having stayed here previously. The guest house is well situated just behind the harbour, therefore avoiding too much hill climbing.A short walk from the car park makes it easy on the legs!! The guest house is quaint and charming, and the rooms are clean and tidy.Jane and Anita serve a first class breakfast,to set you up for... More

We were able to ring ahead before we arrived and we were able to check in at 12pm. The guest house is in a great position some rooms overlook the... More

I would stay here again any time. The location was absolutely perfect, within close walking distance of the Tate St. Ives Museum, the Barbara Hepworth museum, most of the local beaches (Porthmeor and Porthminster), and the strand. The exterior of the building and entrance were beautifully decorated with flowers and vines, and the interior was just as nice. My room... More

I was with a couple of friends of mine and we were turned down by the "manager" because we were "three lads". The woman was clearly homophobic as she assumed that three guys in two rooms could do anything. I reported the episode to the police and we are considering to sue them.

This was our second stay at the Grey Mullet and this time we took my parents and my children (who are in their late teens). As previously, we were warmly welcomed by Jane and Anita, superb breakfasts served every morning and the rooms kept clean daily. A great location for all amenities, a quaint guesthouse in the heart of St... More
