Worst room I've ever had the misfortune to stay in (and I include travels in Kenya and Bolivia). Dirty, stained walls, missing plaster and old wallpaper poking through where they've clearly removed something major attached to the wall and not bothered to repair. Buzzing light fittings throughout. I honestly can't speak lowly enough of this miserable excuse for a hotel.... More

Six of us pre booked rooms months ago so all had indecently cheap rooms. They are just fine considering, clean and with a comfy bed (Amesbury Travelodge is all spruced up and much smarter) but this is a very busy place and the rooms get a lot of wear and tear but they are fine. Last saw a TV like... More

Having stayed in travel lodges before, I was expecting simple accommodation but value for money, however on this occasion i was shocked at by how poorly our room had been maintained. All of the walls were dirty, with grubby marks on, there was even dirty handprints on one wall. The skirting boards were chipped and dirty, there was also stains... More

With Travel Lodge I think you pretty much get what you pay for. However the resteraunt here is a little pricey for a stop over although food was food enough in the bar and grill and staff even made us meal at smack on last orders at 10pm when I collected friend from airport. However I did not pay for... More

Stayed for a couple of nights, and have absolutely no complaints. Well one, but we'll come to that. The staff were very friendly and helpful (no idea where other comments about the staff come from), and the room was exactly what you expect of a Travelodge - simple, clean and functional. OK, some of the corridors were a little tired,... More

Booked for me by company as last minute stop over. Easy to find and very close to airport. Tesco for fuel etc 1.4 mile door to door. I had room 136 which was ok. Hotel is tired and needs updating, but it was full to the brim. I can understand why, close to everywhere. My room was acceptable, but for... More

We spent one Sunday evening here during April 2013. The reception staff were friendly and helpful when allocating the room on arrival. The family room was basic but clean. There was a double bed and a sofa bed which was fine for three adults for one night. The pillows and duvet were of poor quality and you could here traffic... More

Having read the other reviews I think we must have stayed in a different hotel! We had 2 rooms both of which were clean & comfortable & definitely not noisy. I had a family room for myself & my mother & the staff had only made up the double bed but within minutes of me explaining that we needed the... More
