5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 May 2013 NEW

Just spent a wonderful couple of nights at Woodlands! Jo and Andy have thought of everything from a mini bar in the room to wonderful smelling shower gels in the bathroom to a hairdryer in the bedside drawer! The bedroom and bathroom have been refurbished to a very high specification. Breakfast was wonderful and again everything was thought of...full English,... More

We stayed at the woodland B&B a year ago and still have very good memories of our stay. The spacious room was very clean and we had a great breakfast. The owners were very friendly and we really enjoyed their hospitality.

A big thanks to Jo and Andy for making our stay extra special once again. Nothing is too much trouble for them they certainly go the extra mile. New additions of the fridge and wine a much enjoyed extra after a long walk. Just sorry couldn't stay any longer. Love the renovations. Ruth and Sam

We found this a great place to stay. The B&B was well located with it's own parking area. The room was very well decorated, spotlessly clean, well lit and spacious with an excellent wet room. There was a big balcony which unfortunately we couldn't use due to the cold weather but in the summer it would be lovely to sit... More

My partner and I had two nights here last week and were thoroughly impressed with everything we saw. The owners Jo and Andy were absolutely lovely and were happy to help and accomodating; they also cooked a great breakfast! The room was also lovely, with the wetroom a particular highlight. We were also lucky enough to have a wonderful view,... More

We stayed at this Guesthouse for the Exmoor coastal marathon weekend. It is the quality of a hotel. Our room was extremely high quality and was absolutely spotless. The hosts, Jo and Andy were very helpful in recommending places to eat. They also kindly catered for the early marathon breakfast. Hope to be back next year. If you book this... More

My husband and I stayed at Woodlands in March for 2 nights and would highly recommend it as a lovely place to stay. Jo and Andy couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and the room was beautifully decorated - absolutely loved the wet room. The setting is fantastic, very peaceful and secluded with beautiful views... More

My husband, sister, sister's friend, and I had an absolutely wonderful time in Exmoor National Park, in large part because of the wonderful advice and hospitality of Jo and Andy. Woodlands Guest House itself is beautiful -- the view of Exmoor is spectacular and the rooms are beautifully decorated (some complete with a balcony to enjoy the spectacular view) and... More

Stayed here at and of August 2012 with a friend to visit around the area. This was a lovely stay. The room was very clean and comfortable with proper duvets on the bed rather than sheets and blankets. Upon arrival was bought up a tray of tea and biscuits. The breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble... More

My wife stayed with Jo and Andy back in May and thought it was so good that we decided to use Woodlands as our base with friends for a weekend break to North Devon. The owners really do set themselves very high standards and the accommodation, breakfasts and welcome are first rate.
