Stayed in May 2012 for a weekend in Plymouth with a large group Was very disappointed at the 3pm check-in, especially as there was nowhere to leave bags in the mean time, this really should be better advertised on booking. Rooms had not been cleaned, every member of our group found the cleanliness of the room unsatisfactory. Ours had not... More

Just come back from a weekend in Plymouth...so much better than last year! New manager was very hot :) gave me an upgrade to a family room (THANX). Wish they did breakfast in bed! I was checked in by the head receptionist Tina and the night guy was very helpful when I came back at 3 in the morning and... More

Just got back from 3 nights in the Travelodge one of them being Friday night but had room at back which was quiet. Was annoyed at the £10.00 early check in. Asked if could leave cases and come back at 3pm and check in was told no as there was nowhere to leave bags, so either pay the £10.00 or... More

Travel Lodges are very much the same whereever you go and this one follows the formula so all you would expect in terms of basic needs, good clean room and bathroom, reasonably comfortable bed etc. This one is situated adjacent to the Theatre Royal and therefore ideal for an overnight stay to see a show...we had booked for Phantom of... We stayed in this Travelodge for 3 nights. On arrival we were a little nervous after seeing the number of signs warning of excessive noise levels and warnings that violence will not be tolerated, however our stay was far from rowdy. This may have been due to our stay being Monday-Thursday but still, no complaints. The room was up to... More

Really good location for access to the city and the barbican. We didn't hear much noise from outside but other guests were noisy at times. The hotel was simple and clean which for the price is all you can ask for!

Have stayed here several times and it is what it is a Travelodge. Good location very near good car parks and food outlets. The fire alarm went off at 3:30am on our last stay, but after a short period on the street outside it was a false alarm. Would and are staying again

Just came back from a 2 night stay, lovely friendly staff, room ok, 2 peepholes in the curtain which was someones idea of a joke i asume. A minor problem when we arrived, the room that they gave us already had someone else in, but it was quickly sorted. The breakfast box, was convenient but not really worth the money... More
