Newly redecorated with new beds, tvs and carpets. Excellent value for money and only a few minutes walk to the Barbican and the lovely bars and restaurants there. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Hotel is quiet, with the National Aquarium just over the road. Food in the restaurant was great (£22 meal deal, well worth it!)

Stayed here at the end of the refurb works. Clean and well presented, with very friendly staff. Lovely quiet location, and the bar/restaurant was very good. Large 42" flat screen tv was an unexpected bonus!
