stayed at this hotel number of times,great location on bay with views across to Torquay, approx 1/2 way between Torquay/Paignton with easy access to bus if don't want to walk. staff offer a great welcome with all staff being professional,friendly,approachable and helpfull. Some of the rooms maybe a little "tired" but public areas are great with wonderfull bay views

Plusses are staff, location, view and dinner. Minuses are dated rooms, room too hot and noisy and warm coffee and limp flacid toast for breakfast. By the way Key Lime Pie is NOT bakewell tart!

We enjoyed a two night break here for a Wedding in March. The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the outside space with spectacular sea views. Lovely polite staff, fabulous location and views, excellent dinners - and guests can use the pool in the sister hotel opposite - a perfect hotel to stay at.

Stayed at the hotel at the end of a long week away on business in a different hotel every nite and a best western account holder. Sadly the Livermead is in need of a serouse refurbish. Had a good room - very clean & comfortable. Food & service very good. Made a pleasant change not to have breakfast served as hot buffet.

A great position in a beautiful bay in Devon with fabulous views of Torbay in the restaurant and lounge. If you have a full seaview room then this is 4 star.
