Nice friendly owners and staff, super accommodating and great food all at great prices, stayed twice for work with staff now and keeping it as a regular on our books!

We stayed at the hotel in second week of March. May I just say the room was exquisite. Extremely clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful The breakfast was excellent. What more can you ask for for one night, a couple and only £40. Bargain!
I stayed for just a night here and basically got on fine.
The man who runs it can be a little over the top with the humour, but we were prepared for this having read the reviews and we took it in the spirit it was meant. Not the place to stay, though, if you are easily offended or after...

As the cheapest hotel I found in Torquay you will certainly get what you pay for.
The whole place is very tired, in need of more than just a lick of paint to get rid of the damp smell and the plumbing just about works.

good initial impression of the hotel situated on top of the cliffs overlooking the bay with magnificent views .Friendly greetings from the manager who had a good sense of humour and a few stories to tell .rooms were dated and in need of a "re-furb" bath having repairs to the base and no shower ,except for rubber ones to fit...

I booked this hotel about 4 hours before arrived which I thought was very accommodating.
Firstly you do need to have a sense of humour if you stay here.
When we arrived the manager was outside and asked if we were coming to play?
I thought nothing of this comment.
Our room wasn't made upon arrival, maybe due to the...

I used to think that although based in Torquay, Fawlty towers was a fictional hotel.
It isn't, it's a real place, and I had the misfortune to stay there.
The last summer bank holiday of the year, 3pm in the afternoon I get a call from my son in Torquay, I need to get down there, ok, really short notice...
