We originally chose this hotel as it advertised a newly refurbished room with a super kingsize bed-which was very appealing when you're expecting! The room was beautiful, absolutely spotless and the bedlinen and pillows were luxurious. Stayed here for one night in July 2010. The owners were both very friendly and very accomodating, lovely people. The location is just outside the centre of Torquay so it was peaceful, but close enough to access and enjoy the town. The decor is a little dated but this adds a quaint english feel to the place. The location was excellent, the hotel is under new management, friendly staff, great room (newly renovated). Owners were very helpful, refered us to great restaurants, shopping, and local points of interest. We had an excelent time, just what we needed, as busy, or as quiet as we wanted. Looking forward to a return visit.
