Having stayed in Torquay quite a few times, this is by far the best gem of them all. Lovely rooms and garden, really quiet but close to the town as well. Great hospitality and definitely top of the list for a return visit.

The hotel and the gardens are perfect place to relax for a short break. The hotel is conviently located within a short walk of the town centre. The hotel has a 'Byo' ( bring your own) bar which is not only very cost effective but is great idea particularly for groups. This facility allowed or party of 8 to have...

Stayed at the Carey Court last weekend in a party of 8. It was a real treat to stay in such a lovely house. Perfectly located for the harbour (just ask Paul for the shortcut) the rooms are clean, spacious and reek of colonial charm. Linda and Paul are very welcoming hosts who are also happy to leave you to...

We have just returned home having spent the last 2 nights at the Cary Court. We have stayed at a number of Bed and Breakfast/hotels throughout the Uk and especially the South West over the last 10 years, and without a doubt this has to be the nicest place we have ever stayed.
The owners, Paul and Linda, were more...

Just returned from another glorious spring break at Cary Court ( it's like staying in Bermuda but without all the hassle of air travel - if you don't believe me just look at the photographs! ). The house is a delight, the garden is spectacular and Paul and Linda, as always, made us so welcome. Oh ...... and Linda's breakfasts...

We have recently returned from a two night stay at Cary Court. This hotel was amazing. The rooms were fab, well appointed, could not fault a thing. Breakfast was lush, very well presented and tasty. Paul & Linda were excellent hosts. Paul was well informed of the area and passed on his expertise should you require this. Other reviews have...

Just returned from a week at Cary Court. We cannot express how welcoming Linda and Paul are. Great humour and legendary breakfasts. They could not be bettered as hosts. The tropical garden and Plantation style house make a beautiful and unusual setting. We cannot recommend it enough.

We booked 2 nights and had to stay a 3rd because we just didn't want to leave. We were very comfortable here and found the whole experience very relaxing. The hosts Paul and Linda are friendly and very welcoming. Loved it and plan to return for 3 more rejuvenating days in July and can't wait.
It's not often that a place lives up to expectations, but in this case it did. All the reviews are on the mark. We had a great stay despite less than perfect weather. The welcome, friendliness, room, food, cleanliness, garden, location, in fact everything was perfect. A proper home from home. If only we could have stopped for longer.
