- Queens Hotel Bournemouth

Spent a Saturday night. Good sized room, wonderful view. Breakfast was fine (though no croissants). Very pleasant
We booked with Late Rooms, as we wanted somewhere will a pool and spa options.
We booked 3hours before arrival and checked in with a lovely French woman who was very polite, we were on the 4th floor and with no clear signs to find the stairs we had to take the very old lift which every time it lines...

We stayed for 1 night, for a friends wedding. The hotel itself is OK, but it is very tired. Our bedroom carpet was threadbare, and there was rubbish on the floor behind the bin which we had to pick up.
The bathroom has numerous faults- the pullcord string was very grubby. the ceiling tiles and the frames were also rather...

My lads and I booked 24hour beforehand without looking up any specific information. I knew it was close to beach, its pool and wifi - this was all important for us. We paid £134 for a family room.
Parking was easy and felt safe in the overflow CP.
We stayed 26/5/12, it was 28c hot so the 2 fans were...

After many years of being a guest at many other hotels for other peoples events and staying in every hotel during the past 10 years (Including the Trouville, Cliffside, Miramar, Hermitage to name a few) in every hotel we stayed in had major problems from rooms to the cooking which they didn’t sort so when it came for us to...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in the beginning of March. We bought this stay as groupon promotion, but if we would looking for stay in Bournemouth we probably would not even look on this hotel.
It is very nice pictures, unfortunately in reality it is old, outdated hotel about 25 minutes walk from the city centre what...

Having booked a late rooms deal the value was excellent. Upon arrival the staff were friendly however noticing a sign about the spa being out of action nobody was able to give us any information why or when it would be fixed, this being one of the main reasons for booking to have this facility. Next the room was clean...

Further to your comments I am pleased that your welcome was friendly, you enjoyed your breakfast, and benefited from the excellent location of the Hotel.
I am upset you were disappointed with your bedroom, and that the spa was temporarily unavailable. I am disappointed we did not arrange for an alternative spa to use during your stay, and I apologize...

If you have come to the hotel expecting to use the leisure club forget it.
Pool
Distinctly below temperature and has been for months.
Step for getting into the pool had a broken rung, when it was reported they just removed the single rung, meaning a big drop into the pool - it should have been replaced.
Hot tub
Out...

I can provide an analytical update of the leisure facilities as follows:
At the Hotel there is an 11.5 metre x 5 metre swimming pool, a children’s paddling pool, a Jacuzzi pool, a sauna and a steam room – which are all hugely popular facilities within the Hotel.
At the time of writing this review at 1918, 23.05.12 the swimming...

Visited hotel on 11th May for a 2 night stay on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. After reading mixed reviews was not sure what to expect. Arrived early evening but unable to park in car park so ended up on the road outside, large function going on that evening aswell. Reception staff friendly and helpful, mentioned parking and was...

I am genuinely appreciative that you have taken the time to comment.
It is not in my nature, and my history of review responses on this site will augment this – but I can honestly state that I wish you had stayed elsewhere in line with your sentiments.
A holiday is to be enjoyed and I can draw from your...

Spent a weekend here recently, the hotel whilst a little past its best in terms of decor, offers value for money accommodation in a position by the beach. If i have a complaint it is about Bournemouth itself, the area near the Hotel which contains the Pubs and restaurants was mobbed with Stag and Hen parties and all the excesses...

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment about the Hotel.
I have always found that in Bournemouth, you are not too far away from anything really. There are some excellent restaurants and those that are a little livelier. You have to know where to look really.
I would recommend a short drive (7 minutes from the Hotel)...
