I stayed in Marlins for three nights at the end of April with my husband and baby. We paid 80 pounds a night which I found quite steep considering that it was not high season. Coming from abroad we had deliberately chosen a B and B for that "personal touch" which you cannot find in a hotel, but I was...

Oh dear, we seem to have got this one a bit wrong, I'm sorry this reviewer felt their stay lacked the 'personal touch'. As for the beds, thats a difficult one to get right, it all depends what you are used to, most guests find our beds comfortable, firm enough to give support but not too hard. If only we...

Very comfortable rooms, clean & modern. Great Hosts! Would not hesitate to return back to Marlins.
Chose Marlins based on TA reviews and were so pleased we did. The hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable (although a softer bed would have been more comfortable for my arthritis). We were reassured from their website that there would be no rowdiness from hen or stag parties and although our room was next to the lounge, we were not...

I chose Marlins on the basis of TA reviews, and am so pleased I did. Free car parking, friendly and helpful hosts, and perfectly cooked breakfast with good quality bacon and sausages. No stag or hen parties here, so a peaceful night's sleep in a comfortable bed!

Really enjoyed our stay with free parking, comfortable bed and...

We have just stayed at Marlins for 3 nights, and couldn't fault it. Very friendly and helpful owners Michael & Neil who recommended restaurants, asked if we knew the area (we know it very well) and suggested a ferry from Hengistbury Head to Mudeford, which we hadn't done before. The room was very clean, a comfortable bed (bigger than a...
