I just love this centrally placed, family run hotel. There is no need to drive, as Bournemouth's attractions are on the doorstep. The hotel is warm and welcoming and richly deserves another star! Ideal hotel for attending conferance at BICC at reasonable cost. Staff couldn't be more helpful,food good,bedrooms clean and comfortable,although single rooms a bit cramped. Car Par wsa a trial but staff agin very competant. Qiute noisy until late in rooms overlooking the park. A Reasonable hotel with reasonable orices,would use again.

I stayed here on a bridge break. Not the kind of hotel I would normally stay at, but for the price it was OK, and the owner and staff were very helpful and welcoming.

This is a very old fashioned hotel catering for an older customer ( mainly bowles players) Our room was very dated with an original intercom system from I would guess the 60's, very vintage but ugly and not working, so wehy it is there i have no idea. Turkey and Tinsel Week arranged by local Midland Coach Company. The hotel was extremely comfortable with very friendly staff. The food was of a very good standard and the staff were very accommodating. If I was going to Bournmouth again I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel.

Location is good and near to the pier. Hotel is OK although dated and worn in places. Bedroom smelt musty; ensuite tiny; bed hard and covered with blankets which weren't comfortable.
