This charming B&B is located within easy walking distance of the town centre. Old-world flavour lodgings with a lovely garden. The breakfasts are almost too plentiful and well-cooked (on an Aga!), and as of the 3rd day we settled on a "Catherine" (named after a regular lodger): scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and tomatoes. Fliss and Tony are gracious... More

We stayed over for one night and enjoyed a relaxed stay. Fliss and husband are welcoming and well judged in their hospitality. The large bed was comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. The huge ensuite bathroom was great and very comfortable, though a bit old fashioned. The breakfast was excellent. A excellent good value stay in easy walking distance of the town... More

This is a lovely spacious B & B, with a warm welcome, no fussiness and lovely big double room with en suite. Very pleasantly decorated, without knick-knacks cluttering the place and leaving no space for our own stuff. Very good breakfast with friendly hosts. Easy to walk into town for evening meal and sightseeing - thank you.

We have stayed several times before. Our stay this month was for two nights. We were very warmly welcomed and placed in the same comfortable and attractive 'yellow' twin bedded room as before. The breakfast was generous and excellent. The position of the house is very cnveenient for walking into the charming little town of Shaftesbury (except that the Council... More

The garden which guests can gain access to is absolutely beautiful and both owners were happy to answer even my novice gardening questions. The breakfast was yummy with a host... More

We used three bedrooms and each one was first class. A very warm welcome was received by us all and we finished off the stay with a first class full English Breakfast which set us up for the day

We stayed for 2 nights just before Christmas and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was cosy, clean and spacious with a big bathroom and (most importantly for me as I am quite tall) a long and comfortable bed. Fliss & Tony were very helpful and provided us with an iron and called a taxi to get us to... More
