Kevin and Lyn were most welcoming, the room was modern and clean and the breakfast was the best breakfast we've ever had at a B and B and beats most hotels. Just returned from one night stay at the Rivendell. We had the friendliest welcome by host Kevin & were quickly settled into a warm & comfortable room. Breakfast next morning was exceptional , with home baked bread & pastries available. Really excellent. Would wholeheartedly recommend. Cas Perry

The room was clean, and service, including the decent breakfast, couldn't be faulted, but at GBP 88 in the back end of the season, with a bathroom which was small and shower-only, we felt better value could be had.
