A group of 10 of us stayed here for my hen weekend last week and we had the most amazing time!! we had 3 rooms between the 10 of us. one room was a little more old fashioned and worn than the other 2 but it was still clean and comfortable and perfect for what we wanted it for. The... More

For £70 per night with no breakfast we weren't expecting anything fancy. After carrying our bags up 3 flights of stairs and found our room - we were Gutted! The carpet was worn and stained, the room was extremely dated but worst of all was the bathroom - where we found mould and unfinished tiling. The location was good but... More

We booked in January for this room in march personally and as we went through the Cecil house to get to the reception at the Granville we were quite impressed with what we initially saw. Then in march we checked in and were shown to the left side of the building.. The Cecil house side, stairways were a little cramped... More

Stayed in a junior double here which was fully en-suite. Location was great, about 10 minutes walk of the 'centre', but that's a good thing as it keeps you away from the nightlife noise. It's also perfectly located for Preston Street where we go to a great restaurant - there are a lot to choose from in that road. The... More

This is probably the worst hotel I have visited in the UK. We were left outside in the cold for ages because no-one answered the door when we checked in. Lobby and stairwell stank of chip fat. Wallpaper in the hallways torn and tatty. After being assured the hotel was no-smoking, we were first given a room that stank of... More

I don't know where people stayed to give this hotel a good remark. All I can say is it needs to be given a makeover fast, starting with the dangerous stair carpet.

Just back from my hen weekend there and this hotel is absolutely perfect for hen weekends. Rooms with sea views which were clean and had single beds which were perfect for our needs. The staff (Ed) couldn't do enough for us from offering to carry our bags to the rooms to providing glasses for the bubbly the girls had got... More

Stayed here recently for a hen party. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to us. The rooms were clean. Not all rooms were en suite and in some of the rooms that were, the toilet is not actually in a separate room (however there is a partition wall, just no door). Breakfast has a great selection too.... More

Came here with my Mum and Dad for an overnight trip to Brighton, Last minute deal at £80 for one room and 3 single beds, Over looked the sea and the old pier, Was lovely to watch the sun set. Room was very hot and only had restricted slit windows, Safety reasons i assume, The bathroom looked newly decked out... More
